Déborah: Blind but Not Invisible
A visually impaired student in Côte d’Ivoire shares her journey, ambitions, and perspectives on sexual and reproductive health.
Produced in March 2023 for UNICEF Côte d’Ivoire, this short documentary follows Déborah, a visually impaired secondary school student. Through her daily life, studies, and personal reflections, she shares her perspective on inclusion, education, and access to sexual and reproductive health information. The film highlights the experiences, challenges, and aspirations of young people with disabilities while emphasizing the importance of dignity, equal opportunities, and access to information.

Today, Déborah is a university student, making this film a valuable testimony to her journey and determination.
