Dr. Diene Keita – Executive Director, UNFPA | United Nations Under-Secretary-General                                                                               Official Visit to Côte d’Ivoire – September 2024
In September 2024, just one week after her appointment as UNFPA Executive Director and United Nations Under-Secretary-General, Dr. Diene Keita made her first official visit — and I had the honor of documenting every step of this historic mission.
My work covered her high-level meetings with the Prime Minister, key ministers, the First Lady, the President of the African Development Bank, and inspiring moments with youth leaders, midwifery students, and local communities. It was an intense and human-centered mission that culminated in a High-Level Dialogue on maternal mortality.
