Green Jobs in Grand Bassam: New Lungs for the Youth
Young Ivorians are removing plastic waste from natural ecosystems in Grand Bassam, in the south of Côte d’Ivoire.
This project is the result of a partnership between the mission-driven company Jellyfishhh (the initiator) focusing on the professionalization of cleaning and the depollution of natural spaces and the NGO Green Ivory, in charge of the implementation in Côte d’Ivoire.
In its pilot phase, this project has created four jobs for professional waste collectors in Grand Bassam, while also contributing to the removal of several tons of plastic waste from natural ecosystems.
An action that is reshaping the future prospects of hopeful young individuals, actively promoting green jobs in Côte d’Ivoire.
